The leather is Waxy Commander from Charles F. Stead. Underneath sits a lug rubber sole for year-round weatherproof wear, a medium-density compound offering improved traction and durability. Construction is Goodyear welted on the Leo last, with a 360º split-reverse welt, full-grain kip leather lining, vegetable-tanned leather at the insole, welt and midsole, cork filler over a steel shank and full-grain leather heel counters.
