Dune Chromexcel Moc Toe Boot
Description
The palest leather in the range on its roundest pattern: dune Chromexcel, moc toe, hand-sewn onto a one-piece vamp.
These are natural aniline leathers, so creasing and colour variation are expected and each pair develops differently — every hide is unique. The Chromexcel comes from Horween. The last is the Floyd, which keeps the locked-in heel control of the range while raising the toe box walls to allow forefoot freedom. Goodyear-welt construction, a 360º split-reverse welt, full-grain kip leather lining, antique brass eyelets and speed hooks, vegetable-tanned leather at the insole, welt and midsole, cork filler over a steel shank, full-grain leather heel counters. The lug outsole is designed for harsher conditions: taller lugs, medium-density compound, traction and durability.
A pale moc toe on a lug sole is a contradiction worth owning: casual to look at, work boot to wear. Expect the colour to stop being uniform quickly.
