Milkshake is the palest rough suede in the range, and on a classic service boot it turns a serious pattern into something considerably more relaxed.
Charles F. Stead tans this one in England. The nap is exaggerated on purpose, which is what creates the rough, natural texture — a comfortable, chunky casual leather with a wide range of nap length and character across a single pair. Because the nap is so irregular, variation should be expected and no two pairs will be the same. The boot itself has larger quarters, smaller hardware and an extra eyelet, details that give it a dressier feel. It is Goodyear welted on the Leo last with a 360º split-reverse welt, full-grain kip leather lining, antique brass eyelets and speed hooks, vegetable-tanned leather at the insole, welt and midsole, cork filler over a steel shank and full-grain leather heel counters, on a micro stud rubber outsole.
